MA Smith Engineering was founded by Mervyn Alfred Smith in the late 70’s. With an inventive mind he started to manufacture sawmill processing equipment for his own use.

 

Other saw millers in the area saw his equipment and asked to have equipment made for their own mills.

 

From those humble beginnings MA Smith Engineering was formed and over 40 years has grown to manufacture a wide range of timber processing equipment using modern CAD design, advanced robot controlled hydraulic servo and motion technology.

 

To further diversify our Company in recent years we have developed products for a range of industries.

 

With our strong commitment to customer service, we are able to provide support for machines over 30 years old.
